The cozy room was immaculately clean and provided a comfortable retreat after a long day of exploring. the friendly and knowledgeable owners, Suzy and Chris, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was relaxing and enjoyable. Located in the heart of Haast, this lodge serves as the perfect gateway to the stunning fiords and Southern Lakes. With snow-capped mountains and lush native bush views from our window, we were constantly reminded of the natural beauty that surrounds us. The property's attention to detail was evident, from the insect screened windows to the complimentary WiFi in all guestrooms. We enjoyed the ease of access to ground floor units, making it convenient to come and go as we pleased. Exploring the area was a breeze with the help of tours and ticket assistance available on-site. From bird watching to jet boat rides, the opportunities for adventure were endless. However, we found ourselves most content simply soaking in the tranquility of the rainforest setting and taking leisurely walks through the scenic walkways nearby. In conclusion, Heritage Park Lodge provided us with a peaceful retreat in a stunning location. With its warm hospitality and convenient amenities, this lodge is a hidden gem along the West Coast. We can't wait to return and explore more of this beautiful corner of New Zealand.
